First Day.
Date: April 10, 2015
Time Check: 7AM – 7:30AM
Location: Baluarte, Vigan City Zoo
Good News: No Entrance Fee! 🙂 There’s also a Safari Gallery there but unfortunately, it was still under construction when we went there. So, we haven’t got a chance to visit the gallery. Other than that, it’s a typical zoo with birds, deer, peacocks, ducks, and etc. The only thing that captured our attention was the golden mansion of Mr. Chavit Singson that is located inside and from our view the mansion was still not complete and It’s currently under renovation.
Time Check: 7:46AM – 8:45AM
Location: Bantay Bell Tower
This is a historic and well-maintained place. But sadly, we haven’t got a chance to see the beautiful view from the top because we only have limited time to stay here and it’s too crowded inside the tower and too hot that morning. So, after took some pictures, we went directly to visit the Bantay Church.

Time Check: 10:36AM – 11:05AM
Location: Marcos Museum & Mausoleum
Bukod sa tinikman namin ang dragon fruit juice dito, we also got a chance to see the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ remains. We are not allowed to take pictures inside but the image remained clear in our memories.

Time Check: 12:06PM – 12:48PM
Location: Paoay Church
Before going to this place, we took time to eat first. We never noticed, na Inabot na kami ng tanghalian. We just ate nearby the Marcos Museum. Then, go directly to Paoay Church. Based from my short research, Paoay Church is one of UNESCO heritage site in the Philippines with its unique baroque architecture. Believe me or not, from every angles of this church, I can see that this place is wonderfully photogenic. You will agree. Right?

Time Check: 1:12PM – 1:59PM
Location: Malacañang of the North
There’s an entrance fee worth P30.00 per person. We said “Masaya na kami sa labas at maganda naman ang view dito eh”. Until now, we were really asking ourselves, bakit di kami pumasok? Php 30.00 lang naman. Eheh! Siguro, our eyes are tired already and need to rest for a short while to see more beautiful places Ilocos has to offer that will happen in a bit, especially Bangui Windmills. 🙂

Time Check: 3:32PM – 4:10PM
Location: Cape Bojeador Light House
When we went there, the light house was still under renovation. Therefore, we heard noises from the ongoing construction. But the noise won’t let us destruct our experiences to see the scenic view from the top of this captivating light house. Just a tip for everyone, be very careful when going up and down the staircases because it was too steep.

Time Check: 4:21PM – 5:07PM
Location: Kapurpurawan Rock Formation
Ilang shots nalang at halos lahat ng gadgets naming dala for capturing photos and videos ay malolobat na. Time to save some batteries lalo na’t mamaya na namin makikita ang Bangui Windmills. Well in fact, on our way to Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, we saw some of the windmills already. But there’s a certain place where the tourists can stay for long and have a picture picture with the giant windmills. 🙂

Time Check: 05:40PM – 6:20PM
Location: Bangui Windmills
This was one of the best days of our lives. Our hearts skipped a beat when we saw these giant windmills. Can’t believe that after years of dreaming of being here and have a picture with them. Finally, it happened and it was real. The long stretch of windmills was picturesque. Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to see your wonderful creations.

Time Check: 8:30 PM- onwards
Location: Jun and Carol Beach Resort
After a loooong and great day, we need to take a rest and sleep and wake up fresh for the second day of our tour here in ILOCOS. Thank you folks!
