Location: SHP Bibimbab Cafe & Restaurant
In search for a good Korean food and cafe around Manila. Our feet lead us to this very cozy and cute restaurant. Yes, I’m talking about SHP Bibimbab Cafe & Restaurant. SHP Bibimbab Cafe & Restaurant is located in 980 P. Ocampo Street, Taft, Manila near CSB – SDA Building. They served modern Korean comfort food in a homey ambiance that we surely loved.
We’ve been craving for korean food all week to the point that we need to search all the korean restaurants all over Manila to eat Korean Ramen or shall I say, Korean Instant Noodles. We searched and went to other Korean restaurants but I think that there were no other cafes as cozy and cute as this place. Through the help of helpful blog posts and google map, we came in to this place without any hassle. Thanks to all of you. Glad we found it!
We were welcomed by the hospitable crews by them saying “annyeonghaseyo”. The ambiance of the whole place were warm and homey. The whole area were spacious that gave us a comfortable and relaxing feeling. Cute decorations and gigantic teddy bears filled the whole place.

We already had a good place to stay. Time for us to order. To be honest, we’re not that hungry. We just ate rice meal at 8605 Bagnet few minutes ago. So we just only ordered fair enough for us to stay and of course, the reason why we came here, to eat Korean Ramen.
SHP Bibimbab Cafe & Restaurant Menu

By asking recommendations from the staff about their bestsellers and specialties, we came up with our order.
- SHP Spicy Spam Cheese Ramen (Php 170.00)
- Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie (Php 150.00)
- Blended Java Chips (Php 170.00)
- 5pcs Fried Mandu (Php70.00)
15 minutes later, we had all that we ordered. We’re very glad that we do not need to wait for a longer time for the food.

It’s now time to eat. Time to feed our hungry tummies.
SHP Spicy Spam Cheese Ramen. This is our favorite. Korean Ramen! Presentation is good. We ordered Spicy not Mild but the spice level is not what we expected. It seems that it’s only mild for us. It’s really a good thing that there’s a sliced spam and cheese all over the food to make the taste balance. Overall, it’s one of the best korean ramens that we’ve tasted.
5pcs Fried Mandu. We’re not a big fan of dumplings but when we tasted it, it tasted good and it’s finely cooked. The wrapper is a little bit crunchy. The sauce makes the Fried Mandu more tasteful and sour.
Smoothie Blueberry & Blended Java Chips. We’re a big fan of Blueberry and Java Chip flavor. So, this blended and smoothies are also our favorites. And we’re glad that it met our expectations.

After we ate , we now have time to meet and greet the main stars of SHP Bibimbap, the Gigantic Teddy Bears. It’s a mandatory to have a selfie with them when you visit this place.

This has been a great place for the kids at heart like us and a perfect place for our Ramen cravings. Really glad we found this place. From now on, this will be our newest hang-out place. Thank you SHP Bibimbap Cafe & Restaurant.
That’s it folks. Thank you and till our next foodventure. Gamsahamnida!
